He married Ana Rheeders on 7 January 2011, and they have three children. Bobby says: “My greatest dream is to record an English album that can be distributed internationally. Most of the Afrikaans songs that I wrote myself were born as English songs that I translated into Afrikaans. I trust and believe that this dream will come true one day.”

Sing-alongs and top class entertainment with breathtaking sound and lighting effects are closer to the truth when it comes to a typical Pieter Smith performance. And then of couse there is ’N STUKKIE VAN DER MERWE!
